Sugoicon '09 = Best. Convention. Ever.
Seriously.
I was Canada from Hetalia, and I went with a friend who was female America and another who was Ireland (here's to hoping Ireland's a girl ^_^). We met other awesome Hetalia cosplayers and formed the most epic group. Prussia had an epic panel (and wicked awesome Prussian flag boxers) and apparently really didn't notice there was a Canada in the room until I ran out to retrieve England. Is it strange that that actually makes me very happy? Probably. I don't care.
I chilled with two Russias and the Ukraine for a bit. them. (VODKAAAAAA)
Italy had some awesome art - I'm so excited about the stickers I bought!
And Poland and ponies and Liet and all the flaaaags and dancing and China (aru) and akhfkh;fgfhfkhfdgjkh I could go on for ages about how flipping awesome this was and STILL leave stuff out. I was only disappointed that there was NO FRANCE and the only England I saw was rather rude to me. Boo England (not really - he's one of my favorite characters hehe). Plus there was no Hungary to go with Austria (I don't care what you say, Peggy, that's still my favorite pairing!!!)

I was really sad that I had to leave so early but trick-or-treating was pretty epic too. I got a TON of candy, including a lot of full-size chocolate! OM NOM NOM NOM!!! I even got to introduce myself like "Je suis Canada" to someone and not only did he know what I said but thought it was awesome I was being Canada. Plus I found a yard full of maple leaves and put them in my hair and on my sweatshirt in various places. UDF was even giving out free ice cream.

No other Halloween is going to be able to top this. They should all just give up now.
